Capital Controls India Quad Point Gas Detector Model 1690 provides continuous detection and alarming the ambient presence of low concentrations of toxic gases. The microprocessor-based receiver can accept input from up to four independent sensors each designed to accurately determine PPM levels of toxic gases. The receiver enclosure is NEMA 4X rated and can be wall mounted wherever the monitored gases are manufactured, stored or utilized. Each gas sensor may be located upto 1000 feet (305 meters) from the receiver. Multiple relays allow for remote alarming and activation of ancillary safety equipment such as blowers, scrubber, valves etc
The Model 1690 Gas Detector is highly sensitive and detects and monitors gas levels well under OSHA requirements. The sensors respond immediately to the presence of gas and quickly recover after the gas has cleared. The sensors are designed to eliminate false alarms caused by interference gases and environmental conditions.
The four line digital display shows the operating conditions of each of the sensor simultaneously. This includes indication of the actual detected gas levels in either PPM or mg/m3 as well as any operational or concentration alarms.
Flexible Configuration: Up to four combinations of gas sensors with up to 3 fixed relays & 4 assignable relays.
Maintenance free, long life sensor: 2 years under operating conditions.
Convenient Installation: NEMA 4X / I P65 receiver housing allows indoor or outdoor mounting up to 1000 feet (305 meters) from sensor location.
Comprehensive Display: 4 line by 20 character backlit LCD conveniently displays instaneous readings, short term exposure limits (STEL), time weighted average (TWA), real time clock calibration data, alarm settings, alarm conditions and alarm history for each sensor.
Alarm history: Most recent 40 alarms held in battery protected SRAM Capital memory on first in /first-out basis.
Integral battery backup: Internal battery provides I hour of backup and Controls an optional battery backup allows up to 24 hours operation with main India power failure.
Integral annunciation: An internal hooter provides an audible alarm in case of gas leakage beyond the set limits.
Communications: User configurable RS232 or RS485 as standard.
